CAF Confederation Cup: Moroccan referee Noureddine El Jaafari to officiate Asante Kotoko-ZESCO United clash

Experienced Moroccan referee Noureddine El Jaafari has been appointed to officiate the CAF Confederation Cup match between Asante Kotoko and Zambian side ZESCO United on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Jaafari would be assisted by compatriots Hicham Ait Abbou and Youssef Mabrouk as first and second assistant referees respectively while Samir Guezzaz takes charge as the fourth official for the day.

Rwandan Aaron Rurangirwa has been appointed as the Match Commissioner while IIboudo Serge Paulin Samuel from Burkina Faso will be the Referee Assessor.

The match officials are expected to touch down in the country on Monday ahead of the Group C game at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors would be looking to return to winning ways after suffering a 1-0 defeat in the opening fixture of Group C to Sudanese side Al Hilal while ZESCO United would be aiming to consolidate their lead at the summit of the log after their impressive 2-0 win over rivals Nkana FC on matchday one.
