Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has had a fantastic season with Arsenal both in the Premier League and in the Europa League.

His hat-trick for Arsenal against Valencia has taken the Gunners to Baku where they are going to meet another English club, Chelsea for the Europa League title. Looking at the odds, we can see that Arsenal are at 19/10 to win while Chelsea are at 11/8. There are lots of betting offers to grab on the Europa League final if you are interested in placing a wager.

Surely winning the Europa League would be a great achievement for him and the squad but most importantly it will take the Gunners to the next Champions League. Unai Emery also has the chance to make history by winning the Europa League title for the 4th time in his career.

The Gabon striker said that he is determined to leave his mark in North London and be remembered amongst the club's great players.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang said that he is working hard to become 'an Arsenal legend' and hope one day his name will be in the club's history books.

The striker is surely moving towards this objective as he has scored a sensational 41 goals in 64 games in all competitions since moving to Arsenal. 32 of those goals have been scored in just 49 Premier League encounters which is particularly impressive.

The Gabon international also managed to win the Golden Boot award for the 2018-19 season having scored 22 goals. He has shared this price with Liverpool's Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

Aubameyang has been able to reach those incredible numbers even faster than Arsenal's legend Thierry Henry. The 29 years old now feels that he has the opportunity to leave his market at the Emirates Stadium and be remembered long after he will depart.

In a recent interview, he said that initially has been tough for him to impose himself at Arsenal. Now, however, things are going very well, and his objective is to become a legend with the club. The forward has also discussed his relationship with Alexandre Lacazette.

The two have formed a fearsome strike partnership this season. Aubameyang said that with Lacazette they do share the same view of football. On the pitch, they find themselves very well and can play very naturally with each other.

Aubameyang also said that one of the inspirations for his success with Arsenal was fellow African striker Didier Drogba. He said that when Drogba arrived in England was a bit younger than him and managed to destroy the Premier League, in a good way!

Aubameyang will be desperate to make his mark on the Europa League final that will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, on May 26. The game is crucial for Arsenal as they need to win the Europa League to qualify for the Champions League next season. This is because in the Premier League they only managed to get to 5th place.

Before facing Maurizio Sarri's men, Arsenal will play a friendly game against LASK Linz on Thursday afternoon. The reason for this match is to maintain fitness levels considering that the Premier League season ended on May 12.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang told BT Sport that they have learned from last season and will try not to make the same mistakes in the final.
