Lazio star Antonio Candreva is reportedly set to depart from the Stadio Olimpico this summer with Barcelona leading the race to sign him.

The 28-year-old has made a total of 23 appearances for Stefano Pioli’s men this season, scoring eight times and assisting twice.

According to Il Messaggero, Candreva is set to leave Lazio as soon as this season draws to a conclusion and there have been signals from his entourage that the Italian will depart the Bioncocelesti.

Lazio President Claudio Lotito is reportedly demanding as much as â‚¬35 million from Barcelona, who are in pole position to sign Candreva.

In addition to the Catalan Giants, Serie A rivals Inter, AC Milan and Napoli are all monitoring the Italy international.

Candreva joined Lazio back in 2012, from Udinese where he spent four different loan spells at clubs such as Juventus and Parma and he has shown himself to be effective as both a pure winger and an attacking midfielder.
