Defender Joseph Aidoo discussed his strange goal celebration during Genk’s come-from-behind 4-2 win at Antwerp in October.

The centre-back raced from behind to join his teammates to celebrate the third goal and it was scary.

He jumped over all of them and was lucky not to have picked up an injury.

Aidoo, who is with the league leaders in Spain for midseason training, sat down with his teammate Dieumerci Ndongala to reflect on his celebration.

''That’s how I was born. You know I can somersault so when I was coming I wanted to jump but I saw Brian’s head was close so I didn’t want to get injured so I had to go up,'' the former Inter Allies captain said.

Aidoo has been nominated for the 2018 Sports Writers Association of Ghana Footballer of the Year award.
