WAFA SC coach Prosper Narteh believes his side are being unfairly criticized as weak after dropping successive points at home.

The Academy Boys have been far from convincing at the WAFA Stadium- which was once a fortress-this term.

On Wednesday, they were held to a goalless draw by Asante Kotoko and before that a 2-1 defeat to Liberty Professionals shattered their 46-unbeaten run.

They also drew goalless with giants Hearts of Oak.

''I don't agree to that. I hope you watched the watch. Who played better? I am asking you [journalist]. We were the better side. We even created more chances. The fact that we could score and win doesn't make the team not a good side. I disagree with that assertion,'' Narteh said in a post-match interview.

''We were disciplined tactically. They (his players) are debutants- most of them this is their first time of playing.

''So I think with time, they will mature as the league unfolds and will get the experience to do what is expected from them.''
