Chelsea eye up Inter winger

Serie A side Inter could lose one of their main men this summer as Chelsea are reportedly eyeing up Croatian winger Ivan Perisic.

The former Wolfsburg player is allegedly a target for the Blues’ newly appointed coach Antonio Conte.

“We are happy to be in talks with one the most important clubs in the world,” said the player’s agent Tonci Martic to Goal.com.

“The English Premier League is the best league in Europe, and Chelsea are among the top clubs.

“Ivan is very excited about being a target for a side like Chelsea and a coach like Conte. However, at the moment, negotiations are not open yet.”

Perisic arrived at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza last summer from Wolfsburg for a bid in the region of €20 million.

Inter will demand a considerable sum to let him leave after just one year, but a negotiation is reportedly possible.

The 27-year-old winger has accumulated 28 appearances in this season’s Serie A, scoring six goals.
