Ghanaian youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi is unlikely to feature for Chelsea in their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace this weekend.

The London Evening Standard confirms that the player suffered hamstring problems during the win over Watford on Boxing Day.

Hudson-Odoi was given a rare chance to impress in the Premier League off the bench, however, he himself also suffered a similar problem in the latter stages of the game.

The young winger was an unfortunate substitute to also be subbed off in the same game, but Maurizio Sarri has insisted that the decision was solely based on the player’s injury.

The report claims that Hudson-Odoi had been struggling with a hamstring problem behind the scenes, in what is a big blow to his development as he tries to break into the Chelsea side.
