Children of AC Milan president want to see the club sold

The Berlusconi family should relinquish control of AC Milan to allow investors to take over, three children of president Silvio believe.

Former Prime Minister of Italy Berlusconi retains ownership of the Rossoneri despite talk of a sale for a number of years now, but his children have advised him to sell if he can find a reliable pair of hands to leave the club with.

Three of Silvio’s five children, Piersilvio, Barbara and Eleonora are in favour of handing over the club in time for the start of next season.

Piersilvio and Eleonora have been pushing for a sale for an extended period of time, but only recently has Barbara taken their stance.

In fact, the Milan director spoke to her father last week where she discussed a sale of the club.

Chinese investors are making moves to purchase the club, although the Berlusconi family are believed to be assessing the financial security and integrity of the consortium before agreeing to an outright sale.
