Coach Paa Kwesi Fabian will earn a historic return to the Ghana Premier League if his Wassaman United side beat Deportivo in the promotional play-offs.
The Tarkwa-based side went on top of the four-team table by thrashing Tarkwa United 3-1 in their opener last Sunday.
Kumasi-based Deportivo also managed a narrow 1-0 success over Dunkwa United at the Tema Sport Stadium.
The two go head-to-head on Wednesday in a must win game for both sides as that will secure qualification to the elite division next season.
Fabin has transformed the side since he took charge after his dismissal from giants Hearts of Oak in January for non-performance.
"The opening win was good for us and it's important we chalk another win against Deportivo and that will help us to qualify," Fabian told GHANAsoccernet.com.
