Coach tips new signing Osei to be instant hit at Celtic

Bloemfontein Celtic’s new signing, Ransford Osei, has the potential to take the PSL by storm according to coach Clinton Larsen.

Larsen says the 21-year-old Ghanaian striker has arguably the best CV of any young player on the African continent and if he can turn what is on paper into performances then Siwelele will benefit.

“He trained with us for about one month and you could see the quality. At age 19 he was at Granada in the La Liga and then he went to FC Twente under Steve McLaren so this player has ability,” Larsen told MTNFootball.com.

“He is different to what we already have at the club. He goes for placement rather than power when he has his sights on goal and this is a sign of a classy forward.

“He has composure, he turns very well and makes the right runs as a striker.

“We’ve been trying to work on our strikers’ composure this season, so it is helpful to have someone like him around and hopefully his qualities can help improve the composure of our current forwards too.”
