Cordoba coach slams 'unprofessional' Kwabena Owusu over Qarabag move
Kwabena Owusu has joined Qarabag in Azerbaijan

Cordoba coach Raul Ayne says striker Kwabena Owusu was unprofessional in the handling of his move to Azerbaijani champions Qarabag.

The Ghana striker- who was on loan at the Segunda B side- is accused of forcing his way out of the club.

He went AWOL and refused to report for training, days before the announcement of the transfer.

"The striker left the team. He didn't want to play in our team. I don't want such a player at my disposal. I'm glad he's not with us right now. He told us that a team is giving more money and I didn't want to miss this chance,'' Ayne said.

"Owusu didn't tell us when he left the team. I waited for him to tell me something after the match with Villararrubia, but it did not work out the next day. I don't know why, but it's not the right step."

The 22-year-old striker spent the first half of the season at Cordoba on loan from Spanish La Liga outfit Leganes.
