Black Queens Coach Kuuku Dadzie says he is looking to restore the team’s lost reputation in Africa and beyound.

The former Ghana international was handed the job after excelling with the U-20 side in last year’s All Africa Games where the Black Princesses clinched an historic silver medal in Maputo, Mozambique.

And with the fortunes of the senior side as Africa’s second force behind Nigeria fading in recent years, the veteran trainer says his brief will be to reverse the steep decline on which’s footing the team will catapult into being a world beater.

“Of course my aim is to replicate what I did at the Princesses with the Queens and even more,” he toldGHANAsoccernet.com.

“We have not been able to sustain our reputation in Africa in recent years and it is something I am really looking at addressing immediately.

“The fact that we have quite a number of the Princesses graduating to the Queens gives us a good mix of talents going forward.

“Hopefully we will be able to knit a solid side to conquer African and even the world at major competitions.”

The players with the exception of the Black Princesses sect are expected to regroup on Sunday in Prampram for camping ahead of an international friendly with Ivory Coast on April 7.

The Black Queens will play Cameroon in the African Womens Championship qualifier in May.
