Chief Executive Officer of Dreams FC Kurt Okraku has reiterated his readiness to offer any form of backing to the Normalisation committee.

Last month, FIFA issued a warning to the Government of Ghana (GoG) to withdraw their liquidation case against the nation’s football governing body or face its wrath.

One of the major steps is that the Government will take steps to discontinue their bid to dissolve the nation’s football governing body.

The Government wrote to FIFA asking for further discussion on the issue for which they have now come to a consensus after the meeting.

FIFA says it will in consultation with the Government of Ghana (GoG) and CAF constitute a ‘Normalization committee’ to run the Ghana Football Association.

The committee will replace the Executive Committee and organise elections for a new executive committee.

FIFA took the decision after a powerful delegation led by Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah, Deputy Chief of Staff Samuel Jinapor, the Minister of Information designate Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.

And Okraku, who was part of the defunct Executive Committee of the beleaguered Ghana FA says he is ready to offer any form of support required to ensure the successful administration of football with the Normalization Committee.

“I cannot say that I am ignorant of good football management skills, good techniques and strategies,” he told Dreams TV.

“So when the time comes, I’m sure we will contribute our bit no matter how little it is.

“I am an investor in the sport and therefore it is important that I play a role in ensuring that football becomes beneficial for all of us.”

The Normalization Committee is expected to be announced today.
