Dreams FC have earned praise from Club Licensing Manager Emmanuel Dasoberi for work done on the abandoned Dawu Park.

The facility, adopted by the newly-promoted club, has been approved for Ghana Premier League football after meeting the requirements of the Club Licensing Board.

"They’ve worked on the grass and all the other important required to meet the standard to host premier league games and I am very impressed,” Dasoberi, who inspected the venue, told Joy FM.

"I have told them a lot still needs to be done but the executive chairman of the team assured me that by Sunday, February 14, they will be hosting Accra Hearts of Oak and he will like me to come around and have a look again.

"But in a nutshell, I was very impressed with the work done.”

The Dawu township have been without Premier League football since Dawu Youngsters got relegated from the top-flight in 2002.

Dreams FC host Hearts of Oak on Sunday in a final high-profile friendly ahead of the start of the Ghana Premier League season.
