Ex-AshGold player David Adjei has launched a scathing attack on the credentiasl of new Hearts of Oak coach Vucicevic Nebojsa saying he will worsen the plight of the relegation threatened giants.

Adjei, who is on the verge of retiring from hius playing career in Slovenia, played under the Serbian coach about eight years ago.

Hearts who are currently in the relegation zone appointed Nebojsa last month to help the club beat the drop.

But Adjei says the Serbian coach is bereft of technical knowhow to restore the fortunes of the club.

“I believe Hearts’ management did little about the coach’s track record, they wouldn’t have gone for his services. I have worked with him, and I can say he has nothing to offer,” Adjei said on Happy FM.

“If Hearts had contacted me, I would have opposed the idea to engage him.”

Adeji added that the Phobians should look within the country and some of their former players could have the club avoid relegation.

"A player like Ablade Kumah should have been encouraged to take over the coaching job.”

Adjei, who also played for Kotoko and Accra Great Olympics, says the standard of the country's game has fallen because of lack of facilities and good training for budding football stars.
