Ex-Kotoko captain Ablordey fancies coaching

Newly-appointed team manager of Asante Kotoko Godwin Ablordey will take into active coaching in the future.

The club's former captain re-joined the side as one of the backroom staffs for boss Maxwell Konadu early this month.

Ablordey who is revered by the Kotoko faithful for his selfless service to the club says he’s learning the rudiment of coaching under Kotoko.

He told Radio XYZ: ''I am learning a lot from Maxwell because I am always at the training grounds.

"I don't go and sit down as team manager and hold pen and paper. I work closely with him (Maxell Konadu).

''Because I know one day I will be in his shoes so when it get to my turn one day it won’t be difficult for me.

''I'm in the learning process now and I believe one day I will get there."
