Former Ashanti Gold SC defender Desmond Agbekpornu has joined Nigerian side Heartland FC, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The 23 year-old centre back has been without a club since being released in January, 2017.
Agbekpornu was among the 22 new players acquired by the Owerri based side ahead of the new Nigeria top-flight season.
He was part of the Ashanti Gold SC squad that won the Ghana Premier League in 2015.
Heartland FC open their season on the road with a trip to the North to face Kano Pillars.
