EXCLUSIVE: Levante reject five million Euros offer for Emmanuel Boateng from clubs in France and Germany

Spanish La Liga side Levante UD have rejected offers of about five million Euros for their Ghana striker Emmanuel Boateng.

The 22 year old striker has emerged on the radar of several clubs in France and Germany following an outstanding debut season in Spain.

The Ghana International grabbed the headlines in Spain last season when his hat-trick against Barcelona condemned the Catalans to their only defeat in the La Liga.

Having already scored against Real Madrid, the player who arrived from Moreirense in Portugal became a hot commodity in Spain.

The striker struggled at the beginning of his career in Spain but former manager Juan Ramón López Muñiz gave him minutes for him to progress. His potential was soon unleashed when manager Paco López took over.

Meanwhile, between March and June, according to CIES Football Observatory, the value of Boateng went from 5.5 million to 8.5.

Boateng's performances has seen him earn a call up to the senior national team of Ghana, where he played in the double header friendly against Japan and Iceland. The former Black Satellite striker scored his first International goal against Japan in May.

Emmanuel Boateng has joined Levante for preseason ahead of the upcoming campaign and the forward is expected to be given a contract extension to fend off potential suitors.
