Sassuolo midfielder Joseph Alfred Duncan is expected renew his contract which will keep him at the club until 2022, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.

Duncan, 25, has two more years on his current deal but will commit his long-term future to the Serie A side despite mounting reports regarding his future.

The Ghana international has consistently been linked with a move away from the Mapei stadium with giants Inter and AC Milan believed to be interested.

Turkish giants Galatasaray  as well as English side Tottenham have also been rumoured to be interested in the midfielder.

Italian club Sassuolo value the Ghana international at around €15 million (£13.73m).

Duncan has been on the books of Sassuolo since 2015 when he joined from Italian rivals Sampdoria.

The 24-year-old actually started his professional club football career at Italian giants Inter, but the midfielder failed to make an impact at the Nerazzurri.

The Ghana international made 23 starts for the Serie A side last season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.
