FC Porto striker Majeed Waris on cloud nine after winning first career title

Ghana striker Majeed Waris is savouring winning his first career silverware with Portuguese giants FC Porto.

The Dragons opened a four-point lead after chasers Benfica drew 0-0 with Sporting in the Lisbon.

Waris, who joined Sérgio Conceição's from Lorient during the January transfer window, has made five league appearances.

He took to Twitter to express his delight: ‘’Ever Grateful, thanks to the fans and everyone for their wonderful support. The fans deserve this. FC PORTO’’

This is FC Porto's first silverware in four seasons.
