Female referee Mercy Tagoe donates to orphange

Ghanaian female Fifa referee Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo has donated food items worth 3,500 to the Village of Hope orphange in Gomoa Fetteh.

The items included 10 bags of rice, three packs of frozen fish, two boxes of mackerel, three big gallons of cooking oil, used clothing and 10 packs of toilet rolls.

Tagoe-Quarcoo will officiate at the upcoming Fifa Women's World Cup in Germany as a middle referee.

She was an ex-Ghana defender and played at the 1999 and 2003 World Cup finals.
