KV Kortrijk coach Yves Vanderhaeghe has disclosed that Bernard Kumordzi is a doubt for their Belgian Jupilar Pro League clash against Sint Truiden on Saturday despite returning to training this week.

Despite suffering a knock in their side's 1-1 draw with KRC Genk a fortnight ago, Kumordzi held on to play the entire duration of the match.

The 33-year-old consequently missed their goalless draw with Club Brugge last weekend as well as their 3-0 defeat to KV Mechelen in the Belgian Cup in midweek.

The former Panionios midfielder has however joined his teammates in training after recovering from the injury but coach Vanderhaeghe says he is unsure if the player will play a part in their Saturday's game against Sint Truiden at the Stayen Stadium.

"I saw them working three times. It is a team that would just participate in first class, "he says. "They have almost all played in the highest range."

Vanderhaeghe will perform some rotations in his line-up, "but that will not weaken the team," he said. "I have regularly introduced a few other boys in the last few weeks and everybody gets their level. "Kumordzi trains again but I'm not sure of his place in the team."

He has made 3 appearance for the club in the ongoing campaign.
