Juventus made it 15 straight league victories on Saturday evening in a thrilling  1-0 win at home to Napoli, in Serie A’s big top of the table clash.

The win propels Massimiliano Allegri’s men into first place for the first time this season, though as important as the result was, the game itself provided a great insight into the teams and their potential as they focus their sights on the long run home.

So here’s five things that we learned from the match.

Napoli can go up against the best

Despite succumbing to defeat to the reigning Champions, Napoli showed the world that they have the quality, skill and most importantly the confidence to take on the very best.

The Partenopei came within inches of taking the lead on numerous occasions, as they outplayed Juventus for much of the game, showing no signs of sitting back.

The result could have quite easily gone the other way on another day, something the Napoli fans acknowledged and showed their appreciation for as 3,000 fans turned up to greet the team upon their arrival home.
