Ghanaian born Italian winger Kingsley Boateng has revealed the reason for leaving serie B side Bari for Slovenian top flight club Olimpija Ljubljana.

According to the 24 year old, he was never happy at the club and joined the Slovenian club to get a chance of playing in the UEFA Champions League.

Kingsley Boateng who joined Olimpija Ljubljana at the beginning of last season, has played 8 times and scored twice for the Slovenian league leaders.

''At Bari I was no longer comfortable with the society and I played little. Then I received the call from Olimpija Lubiana and I was attracted to it, because it is a league where there are teams fighting to enter the Champions League, which we will have next year too, as we will play the preliminaries ".
