Former Black Princesses star Ernestina Abambial 'can't wait to get started' at new club Sporting Huelva

Sporting Club Huelva's new signing Ernestina Abambila has stated her readiness to begin a new adventure in Spain. 

The ex-Black Princesses player joined the Spanish outfit on Monday after ending her stay with Swedish side Assi IF.

"New Team, New Challenge. I can’t wait to get it started at Sporting Huelva," she posted on Social Media after completing her move.

Abambila has so much experience having played for FC Minsk in Belarus where she participated in the UEFA Women's Champions League.

The 21-year-old has also had stints with Aris Thessaloniki in Greece and Assi IF also in Sweden.

The Black Queens star also played in the United States University League with Mississippi Valley State University and Youngstown State University.

Abambila is the first Ghanaian to score in the UEFA Women's Champions League.

The talented midfielder has played for Ghana at all levels which are the U17, U20 and the senior national team.

She becomes the second Ghanaian to move to the side after Princella Adubea who joined last year.
