Former Chelsea youngster Jonathan Panzo has drawn comparisons between Calum Hudson-Odoi and French World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe.

According to Hudson-Odoi's former teammate, it wont be long enough that the world will identify the real potential of the British born Ghanaian winger.

The 17 year old son of former Accra Hearts of Oak player Bismark Odoi has had a break out preseason campaign, earning him a place in manager Maurizzio Sarri's team for the season.

"Callum was one of the best players at Chelsea when I joined," Panzo told The Sun.

"When we got a bit older it was him and me who used to play up out of our age group with the older boys.

"He's gone back there doing his thing an earned his place in that squad.

"He's a decent player and he can become an even bigger player than he is now.

"He is maybe a little like Mbappe with his speed and dribbling."

Panzo and Odoi all grew up in the Chelsea Academy set up but the former is on his way out of the club and is set to join French side AS Monaco.
