Former Ghana U-17 star and now Asante Kotoko striker Sadick Adams has sent a congratulatory message to the current crop of Black Starlets players for securing a spot in the round of 16 at the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Ghana inflicted a 4-0 defeat on India to qualify for the knockout stage as Group A winners. Captain Eric Ayiah, Richard Danso and Emmanuel Toku got the goals in the convincing victory.

Not only was the win emphatic, the performance from the youngsters was impressive and they have received commendation from Ghanaians, including Sadick Adams, who one time starred for the team.

Adams posted his message on Twitter with an old photo of the 2007 U-17 team, which managed to finish fourth at the World Cup.
