Former Newcastle defender Titus Bramble joins Hearts of Oak as coach

Former Newcastle United defender Titus Bramble has joined Accra Hearts of Oak's technical team as guest coach.

Bramble will work with the club's defenders as they seek to improve the quality of the players before the return of the domestic topflight league.

The ex-Sunderland defender is joined by former Fulham defender Simon Milton, who are going to be working with the Accra based club.

Hearts of Oak head coach, Kim Grant, who started work officially this week has been preparing the boys with some rigorous physical training.

The former Ghana Premier League champions have struggled in recent times, however, with the appointment of Mark D. Noonan as Chief Executive the club has seen several changes including a sponsorship deal with kit manufacturers Umbro.

"Former and defender, , will be joining us as a guest coach next week to work with our defenders . Titus and former Ipswich player, , are in Ghana doing fantastic work with  ," Hearts posted on Twitter.

 

Bramble took to social media to express his delight working with Hearts of Oak.

"Good to catch up with Kim Grant and the Hearts of Oak team and introduce them to and tell them about . Looking forward to coaching the team while I’m here," he posted on Twitter.
