Gennaro Gattuso addressed the media from Karaiskakis stadium in the regular pre-match press conference. Today Milan will face Olympiacos in the last group stage match of the Eripa League 2018/2019.
"It's fundamental we go through, for us and the club. We'll find a hellish atmosphere but it's the players who take the field, not the fans. We need to play a high-quality game in terms of technique, tactics and on the mental aspect. I have to transmit to my team how to prepare the game. All my players are different one another and not all of them need to show the same grit I did."
About Olympiacos the Rossoneri coach said: "They are a good team who keep possession, we mustn't underestimate them. Their players have more experience than ours in international competitions. We can't sit back and play on the counter-attack: I want my team to play with personality. It's an important game which can make us grow".
Gattuso spoke also about the individuals: "I would like to see Castillejo more involved in the game, to move more off the ball but I must say he is showing great dedication and good pace. I am happy with how he fitted into the team. He can still improve a lot".
