KRC Genk forward Joseph Paintsil says he's settled at the club quicker -than- expected due to the presence of compatriot Joseph Aidoo.

Paintsil, 20, marked his competitive debut for the side in their 2-0 win at Kv-Oostende in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League last weekend.

And the Ghanaian, who joined the Belgian outfit from Hungarian side  Ferencváros, has praised his compatriot for helping to settle quickly.

"I ended up at a very nice club. Fortunately, I have the perfect guide from my compatriot Joseph Aidoo," he told Het Belang van Limburg.

"We know each other from the Ghana Premier League. We played together with the national team U20. Aidoo is like a brother to me ."
