Genoa v AC Milan: Official Line-Ups

Published on: 21 January 2019

AC Milan travel to Genoa to face the Grifone at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, looking to start the new year in Serie A with a win and forget Gonzalo Higuain as quickly as possible.

Gennaro Gattuso hasn’t included the Pipita in his squad with the Argentinian on his way to Chelsea, though it could be a positive as without Higuain, Milan have won every game this season.

Krzysztof Piatek will replace Higuain at Milan, and will sit out this game due to a ban. Cesare Prandelli will have to count on Christian Kouame and Goran Pandev to lead the attack.

Gattuso on the other hand has Patrick Cutrone alongside Fabio Borini up front. Ignazio Abate starts ahead of Andrea Conti at the back, and Lucas Paqueta makes his Serie A debut.

Milan: Donnarumma; Abate, Musacchio, Zapata, Rodriguez; Paqueta, Bakayoko, Calhanoglu; Suso, Cutrone, Borini

Genoa: Radu; Biraschi, Romero, Zukanovic, Criscito; Lazovic, Rolon, Veloso, Bessa; Pandev, Kouame.
