Ghana coach expects tough midfield battle against Mali

Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic says the best midfield in Saturday's Nations Cup game against Mali will win the day.

The Black Stars face off with the Eagles in the second Group D fixture at the Stade de Franceville.

And the Serbian trainer identifies: "Tomorrow's game will be decided in the midfield."

"Mali is very strong in the middle, they play very good and are very skillfull.

"I am sure the fans will enjoy the game because both teams play good football."

Ghana will hope to seal qualification into the knockout round of the tournament with a win over the Malians but Stevanovic admits it will be tough.

"It will be a difficult game but we always prepare to win.

"We always want to attack no matter our opponents," he added.
