Ghana defender Pantsil confident Fulham will beat drop

Ghana international John Pantsil is convinced Fulham will avoid the drop in the Barclays Premier League.

The Black Stars defender was left on the substitute bench after own goal mishaps for the Cottagers tight goalless drawn game against Chelsea at home on Monday night.

The West London side have picked up the pieces following a difficult start to the season.

They have garnered 31 points from 27 matches and lie at the 12th position, just seven points above the bottom club Wolverhampton wanderers  but Pantsil insists the Whites will come home grounding at the end of the season.

''I think we’re doing well and if you look at the table we’re eleven or twelve and our recent form has been fantastic and I’m very positive all will come around well for us at the end of the season,'' Pantsil said

''I don’t think that Fulham will go on relegation because I think we have good manager and players who can take to us to the top.''

Goalkeeper Peter Cech saved the blushes of the Blues with a stoppage time penalty save to deny Fulham a win in their derby league match.
