Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom is set to make a big career move after playing at the 2014 World Cup with interest from a number of top clubs in Europe, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.

Top clubs in Europe are in negotiations with the agent of the Greece-based right-back following his impressive showing for Platanias with an expected excellent display at the World Cup in Brazil this month.

Clubs in England, Spain, Germany and France are in talks for the signature of the defender and his future will be sorted out after the tournament in Brazil.

The World Cup in Brazil itself will also open another opportunity for him to market his potential to other clubs which will hike up his transfer fee.

The 25-year-old played the full 90 minutes against Holland and is thought to have impressed his suitors in what was his 46th cap for Ghana.

Inkoom's deal with his Dnipro expires at the end of the calendar year, meaning he can sign a pre-contract this summer and the news has alerted a host of clubs across Europe.

Inkoom is expected to start for Ghana at this month's World Cup finals after impressing in 2010 in South Africa.

The right-back, who can also play right wing, insists he has left his future in the hands of his agent as he wants no distractions going into the World Cup.

"I am only focused on the World Cup at the moment and giving everything for my country as I did in South Africa 2010 where we reached the quarter finals," Inkoom told Sky Sports.

"I believe we have the quality, experience and team spirit to go even further this time around.

"I have left all the interest and talk about my future in the hands of my agent .

"Only when the World Cup is over, then we will sit down and discuss the best direction for my next move.

"Until then, I want zero distractions."
