Ghana defender Hans Adu-Sarpei enjoyed action and Anthony Annan celebrated in the stands as Schalke thrashed Duisburg 5-0 to win the German Cup on Saturday.
Left-back Sarpei lasted 43 minutes for Ralf Rangnick's side which capped off a disappointing Bundesliga season with qualification to next season's Uefa Europa League.
Midfielder Annan watched the game from the stands after failing to recover from a toe injury.
Goals from Julian Draxler, Jean-Klass Huntelaar, Benedikt Howedes and Juan Jurado condemned second-tier side Duisburg.
