The Ghana FA Special Competition will be launched on Friday, GHANAsoccernet.com

A combined 64 teams comprising sixteen (16) Premier League and forty-eight (48) Division will take part in the three-month competition.

The Normalisation Committee revealed the financial package and modalities to the clubs on Wednesday in the Ghanaian capital, Accra.

A reported $800,000 has been earmarked for the running of the emergency competition.

The interim Ghana FA will hold launch the competition at a press conference on Friday, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

However, even before the competition kicks-off, threat of boycott by the Premier League clubs have hit the media.

The clubs are reportedly unhappy with the financial reward and format for the competition.
