Ghana has finally lost out on teenage sensation Calum Hudon-Odoi after the Chelsea winger made his England debut in their 5-0 win over Czech Republic in the Euro 2020 qualifier on Friday evening.

The London born player of Ghanaian heritage was introduced into the game in the 70th minute, replacing hat-trick hero Raheem Sterling.

Hudson-Odoi also became the youngest player to don the jersey of the Three Lions in 64 years, breaking Duncan Edwards record at age 18 years 135 days.

Ghana had hopes of persuading the player to play for the Black Stars because of his Ghanaian lineage but that seems to have ended on Friday night.

Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling scored a hat-trick with Harry Kane netting once.

Tomas Kalas scored an own goal as England began their Euro 2020 qualifiers in a superb way.
