Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey included in Athelitico Madrid's squad for Europa League final

Athletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey has been included in coach Diego Simeone's squad for the final of the Europa Cup in Lyon on Wednesday night. 

The Ghanaian midfielder was part of the 20 team man list that left Madrid for France to play Marseille in the finals of Europe's second tier competition.

Thomas Partey has been magnificent for the "Rojiblancos" this season, playing 49 times in all competitions registring 5 goals in the process. He is expected to start tonight against the French side.

Athletico Madrid dropped from the Champions League to the Europa and having beaten the likes of Arsenal enroute to the finals.

The Spanish side have been in the finals of the UEFA Champions League twice in three years and won the Europa Cup in 2009/10 and 2011/12 seasons.

Meanwhile, Jose Gimenez and Vitolo have also been included in the team despite having knocks.
