Ghana striker Raphael Dwamena thanks FC Zurich for supporting him during tough times

Ghana forward Raphael Dwamena remains grateful to FC Zurich for supporting him during his botched move to English Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Black Stars forward joined Spanish La Liga side Levante UD on Tuesday on a four year deal after just a season at FC Zurich.

The 23 year old was close to joining English Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion but the move fell through over his failure of a medical.

The former FC Liefring striker in bidding FC Zurich an emotional farewell recounted how the club stood by him during this difficult period.

“More so, the club stood by me when my career almost hit the rocks; of a purported medical complication last year,” portions of Dwamena’s departing statement read.

“That really spoke volume of the values of the club. That I’ll never forget.”
