Ghana winger Patrick Twumasi stays on at Astana despite growing interest from top clubs

Ghana Black Stars winger Patrick Twumasi stays with Kazakhstan giants FC Astana despite proposed move to French sides Lorient and Caen.

Twumasi who was heavily linked in a move to the French side Lorient was to be signed as replacement for Majeed Waris who left a few weeks ago to join Portuguese giants FC Porto.

But the sharp winger has been spotted still training with his Astana side posting huge doubts over his reported move.

Reports in the Kazakhstan media indicates that the club is reluctant to release winger who was the top scorer of the side last season.

Twumasi was also linked to Turkish side Bursaspor who he was set to join his fellow Black Stars team mate Emmanuel Agyemang Badu.

But a move from Kazakhstan does not look promising for the Ghanaian as the club is adamant on keeping their most priced asset.
