Ghana youth international winger Frank Sarfo-Gyamfi played his second game of the season in the South African Premier Soccer League after playing part in Maritzburg United's 2-0 away win over AmaZulu on Sunday.

The 19-year-old gatecrashed Clinton Larsen's first team squad as the former Bloemfontein Celtic manager named him in his starting line-up for the game.

The former Wa All Stars winger gave a good account of himself in the game before he was replaced in the 73rd minute by Ayanda Nkosi.

While Sarfo was playing in midfield, former Rosenborg BK defender Awal Issah Mohammed was at the heart of defence for Maritzburg.

Striker Yakubu Mohammed scored just after the interval to give Maritzburg the lead before Thokozani Putu Sekotlong cemented the win 13 minutes later.
