Finnish side VPS have announced the signing of Ghanaian defender Ignatius Adukor.
The young central defender is at VPS for trials with an option to sign for the club depending on his performance. He was tested by the club last season but due to insufficient playing time, he has been consider to practice with the team for the first time this season.
The 21-years-old, who started his career in Sweden played for Allsvenskan Gefle U-19 and put up splendid performances for the side.
"Ignatius Adukor is a player who has a contract with us and he is now with us on trial. He will help us in the upcoming Finnish Cup," said coach Petri Vuorinen.
The Veps season begins with the Finnish Cup guest match against SJK which is slated for February 2.
