Ghanaian soccer fans have hailed the tactics of head coach Goran Stevanovic following a spectacular second display from the team in their historic 1-1 draw with England.

The Serbian threw his hat into the ring in the second half by making six substitutions which worked perfectly for the team.

Standard Liege's Daniel Opare replaced Lee Addy while Jonathan Mensah took the position of the injured Isaac Vorsah who combined effectively with Captain John Mensah.

Getafe enforcer Derek Boateng put up a critic-silence performance for the Black Stars with an awe-inspiring, inter-positional and excellent passes in the midfield after he replaced Anthony Annan.

Sulley Muntari made way for younger Andre Dede Ayew while hot-form striker Prince Tagoe came on for Dominic Adiyiah and the changes changed the dynamics of the game until a 91st individual brilliance from Asamoah Gyan rocked Wembley with an African beat.

On radio shows on Tuesday night, callers expressed their satisfaction with the approach of the 44-year-old former assistant coach of Serbia and Montenegro.

''The coach has shown that he's the right man for the job and his substitution shows he’s the right man for the job and he needs all our support,'' A fan told Asempa FM

Another one said: ''Plavi is my man for the game despite the fact Asamoah Gyan got that spectacular game. His changes were swift and it paid the dividends quite well.''

Local fans poured onto the street in the West African country after Gyan's later leveler and celebrated deep into the night.
