Ghanaian giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko will know their next opponents in the CAF Confederation Cup later on Friday after when the draw for the competition is held in the Egyptian capital of Cairo.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has lined up the event at its headquarters where 30 clubs will be drawn in a knock out before they can progress to the group phase of the competition.

Kotoko have got the possibility of playing some of the toughest sides in Africa as Zambian powerhouse Nkana FC, Libyan club Al Ahly and Sudanese giants Al Hilal are among the sides.

Other North African sides in the draw will be Al Naser, Ittihad Tanger, whiles AS Dairaf of Senegal and Cotton Sports of Cameroon are among the clubs also in the draw.

Bantu FC from Lesotho leads the outsiders that also include Gor Mahia, Stade Malien, Zesco United, Vipers FC and East African duo of African Stars and Jimmar Aba Jifar.

The list is completed by Cotton Sports and ASC Diaraf heading into the official draw later today.

Asante Kotoko sealed their place in the last 30 teams after sealing aggregate win over Kenyan side Kariobangi Sharks.

Winners of the 15 matches will join Etiole du Sahel for the last 16 of the 2019/20 CAF confederation Cup group stages.
