Ghanaian Kalif Alhassan Keeps tabs on Black Stars door

Ghanaian midfielder Kalif Alhassan is hoping to seize the chance to play for the Black Stars after impressing in the US Major League Soccer.

The 21-year-old who plays for Portland Timbers has churned out impressive performances for the side over the past two seasons.

The former Liberty Professionals enforcer says he is bidding his time for a call-up into the national team.

“I’ve always been dreaming about playing for the Black Stars and I can’t wait to get my chance,” Alhassan said

“Obviously it will be fantastic to play for my country and I am looking forward to the day I will be called.

“I will keep working hard,”

Kalif is the son of former Ghana Â international and two-time African Cup of Nations winner George Alhassan.
