Midfielder Godfred Donsah has laid down the marker to excel with Bologna next season.

The Ghanaian has extended his contract with the Italian side until 2022.

And then 23-year-old wants to excel with the Serie A side.

“I thank the company for the extension of the contract, Bologna gave me everything here I found a second family,” he said after signing the deal.

“This year I’m loaded, we want to make a big league. Mister Inzaghi is giving us a great charge both on and off the field. ”

The former Ghana Under-20 midfielder was heavily linked with a move to several clubs including Bayer Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, Everton and AC Milan, but has opted to extend his stay with the Rossoblu.

Donsah was handed a debut invitation to the Black Stars of Ghana in November 2017.
