Ghanaian midfielder Ibrahim Moro has expressed his desire to leave Danish Super league side Silkeborg IF during the January transfer window.

Moro joined Silkeborg IF at the start of the 2016/17 season from Turkish side Adana Demirspor on a one-year deal before handed a new and improved contract until 2020 some few months later following his explosive start to life at the club.

However, the former New Edubiase United defensive enforcer is relishing the challenge of testing himself in a new league when the European winter window opens.

"I really appreciate this place. I'm grateful that the coach gives me a lot of playing time. He has helped me a lot. But now I feel ready for a new challenge," Moro told Midtjylland's newspaper.

Silkeborg IF could afford to allow the 24-year-old depart the club as they are already well-dressed in the central midfield position with players such as Sammy Skytte, Casper Sloth, Mikkel Vendelbo and Mads Emil Madsen.

Moro has made 13 appearances for Silkeborg IF in the ongoing Danish Super League, helping the club to a 11th place with 14 points after 15 games.
