Ghana youth striker Samuel Obeng is calm about his situation at Spanish Segunda B side Real Oviedo.

Obeng was heavily tipped to lead the line for the Blues this season following his impressive form during their pre-season training.

The Ghanaian carried his form into the Africa U-23 Championship in Egypt where he emerged as one of the brightest players at the tournament.

But he is not having the best of time at Real Oviedo after largely warming the bench.

However, the 22-year-old says he is working hard to improve his situation at the club.

“It is not the same to be in the first team as in the subsidiary. I face the situation with the same desire. Now it's about taking a step forward and making a face.”

He has scored one goal in nine games for Real Oviedo in the ongoing campaign.
