Ghana's Premier League Board will meet on Tuesday to take a decision on whether to alter the calendar after the Black Stars exited the CHAN.

The Ghana League Clubs (GHALCA) had proposed the date be brought forward than the scheduled 2 March date.

The league which was originally scheduled to go on a six-week break due to the championship will now have to be revised by the PLB.

PLB boss Yaw Welbeck Abra Appiah says his outfit will meet at an emergency meeting to take a decision on the matter

"We tabled our calendar because of the championship and to suit it in a such a way that we qualify for the finals but unfortunately we didn’t perform well and so that means some changes will have to come to the fore," Appiah said.

‘We’re meeting tomorrow to take a decision on the matter and then we’ll know what to do. We put in place some FA matches in the course of the break but I guess when we meet then we’ll be able to take a final solution."
