Hearts of Oak kept their winning run

Gilbert Fiamenyoh's 49th minute header ensured Hearts of Oak maintained their winning run in the Ghana Premier League after pipping Berekum Chelsea 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Substitute Oleenu Ashitey weighed in a great cross for the overweight striker who jumped above his marker to direct the ball home with a fine header.

Playmaker Winful Cobbinah entertained the home fans with his gift while Oleenu was also great to watch.

Daniel Awuney and Daniel Gozah were all on the score-sheet for Amidaus Professionals who thumped King Faisal 3-1 at the Tema Park.

Ibrahim Salia scored the consolation goal for Faisal.

Michael Appiah shocked Dwarfs by scoring the only goal of the game in their 1-0 win at the Essipong Stadium.

Emmanuel Allan powered Aduana Stars to a slim 1-0 win over Heart of Lions at the Nana Agyeman-Gyawu Park.

Lions created a barrage of chance but failed to take their chances.

All Stars suffered a later scare to beat Inter-Allies 3-2 at the Wa Park. Young striker Saddick Adams grabbed a brace for All Stars but Prosper Kassim and Stephen Ansah scored to cancel out the lead before Kofi Yeboah scored a goal of the season contender.

Patrick Opoku scored in the 73rd minute to help Bechem United draw 1-1 at New Edubiase United. Former Hearts of Oak-pursuit Sakyi Quaye put Edubiase ahead in the 11th minute but Opoku levelled for Bechem.

AshGold held Medeama to a goalless drawn game at the Tarkwa T&A Park in Saturay's only kick-off.
